YIS & Seismic

LATEST FEATURES

YiS is a service that combines UPS SNMP technology with network technology to provide various conveniences and functionalities for users. This service allows access to UPS-related information, such as datalogging, and provides alarm notifications in case of issues. YiS also supports multi-user usage, offering remote access, enabling real-time management, and control of the UPS system from any location.

The advantage of YiS lies in its ability to address common weaknesses found in the use of regular UPS SNMP cards. The service includes several key components such as UPS status monitoring, notification or alarm alerts, system control, and network security. YiS also allows users to track device locations (track location), monitor speed (speed monitoring), provide operational documentation (documentation), and store data in an integrated database.

Additionally, YiS supports multiple platforms, allowing access and control from a variety of devices, thus increasing flexibility and convenience for users in managing their UPS systems.

The Seismic Control System is a supporting device for UPS that functions to deactivate the UPS during an earthquake. This device is equipped with a sensor that can detect seismic vibrations either vertically or horizontally. It works by detecting compression waves (P waves) which travel faster than the destructive shear waves (S waves). This system is highly sensitive in detecting tectonic earthquakes, landslides, and aftershocks.

The working principle of the seismic system is to deactivate the UPS when an earthquake occurs, providing certainty that an earthquake has happened because it is triggered by seismic vibrations, not sound. If the indicator light turns on, it means an earthquake has been detected, and the UPS will automatically deactivate. The sensor is capable of detecting earthquakes both vertically and horizontally, and its sensitivity can be adjusted to detect seismic vibrations starting from magnitudes 6, 7, 8, and 9 on the Richter scale.
